The “I just splashed through black paint vinyl graphic!” That'll spice it up! I'm ok with it on a ranger splash or a raptor but dart? I'd rather target graphics.

I always think of new car purchases like this as “for the person who just REALLY HAS TO HAVE A BRAND NEW CAR”

Because I’d buy a 4-5 year old car with under 50k miles with that cash and have a hell of a better ride.

I have to agree. I bought a brand new car in October and while I do love it, I can admit now that it was sort of a mistake.

18k is more than we paid for our CPO 08 Jeep Commander 4x4 that only had 43k (ish) miles on it. That was almost 3 years ago too.

I have one that might be even worse than that. Driving down the highway yesterday I saw a 5th gen Camaro with a “Z26" graphics package, hockey stripe and all. Way to dress up your base model, and make a moniker that belongs on a Beretta. Some people are just dumb.
